An award-winning creative communicator, concept strategist & Fellow in Higher Education Teresa Havvas combines academic excellence with brand expertise to intuitively guide people & businesses breaking new ground.

T’s portfolio career spans two decades in the luxury & street- fashion, beauty & lifestyle sectors - as an entrepreneur, senior lecturer, external examiner, insights contributor, editor and guest speaker.

Highlights include ;

• UK PR Manager PUMA sport-fashion, global & grass root projects. 

• Marketing Director for the launch of Volt Magazine founded by Rui Faria.

• PR & Salon Manager for TaylorTaylor London’s Flagship.

• Founder and Creative Director of Canvas Life - a ‘good projects, good people’ collective of graduate talent fostered by T, working together to support independent beauty brands, multimedia artists and lifestyle labels. 

• Associate Director for Jeff Boardman (BUREAU Agency). 

• Publicist & Sales Agent for on & off schedule designers showing during Fashion Weeks.

For 12 years (from 2012), while establishing a teaching and consultancy practice, Teresa transitioned from Sales and Marketing Director for Lipcote (the iconic lipstick sealer) to Head of Brand and what later became Lipcote & Co.

Repositioning to revive & expand a British heritage product into two multi-award-winning make-up essentials, accredited by The Green Chemist consultancy - Lipcote & Co achieved listings in the following leading pharmacies & fashion-beauty destinations:

Boots & Superdrug nationwide, Sephora online, Primark (Europe), Urban Outfitters (UO) & the UO X Gallery Lafayette, pop-up (Paris). 

An all-encompassing communications strategy that also accomplished- significant press & media coverage, book features, live projects x arts universities, celebrity event & charity sponsorships. As well advertising & PR campaigns in collaboration with esteemed beauty photographers, MUAs and foresight agencies. 

Teresa in partnership with her team organically led a family-owned (SME) manufacturer into a lifestyle brand, a Bronze Patron for the British Beauty Council, a longstanding member of the CEW, and a community platform to profile (first) beauty communicators on the rise.

September 2024 marked the end of an era when the company was sold and its legacy passed over, to new ownership. 

In true polymath form, and to date, T is a freelance Creative Business Mentor, Founder of The Advisory (+), a Visiting Lecturer at Vogue College of Fashion London, and Industry Contributor x IED, Florence.
